Western CUSD 12 Announcements
The Paw Print staff is currently accepting family ads for our senior students to be published in the yearbook. Cost is $25 per ad. Forms were sent home with the seniors a few weeks ago. If you would like to purchase one for your senior and do not have a form, you may pick one up in the high school office. All ads and payment for the ads are due no later than Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. If you would like a picture to accompany your message, you can email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or submit a hard copy of the picture with your order. If submitting a hard copy, it will be returned to you. Space is limited in the yearbook for senior ads-we have room for 88 ads. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Tappe at the email address mentioned earlier or call the school at 217-335-2323.

The yearbook staff needs your pictures! We have several pages in the yearbook this year dedicated to summer activities and trips, summer jobs, and random summer and fall pictures. If you have any that you would like to submit for possible inclusion in the yearbook, you can email them to email@example.com or upload them to replayit.com. If using RePlayIt, you will need to create an account to be able to upload, and then email firstname.lastname@example.org so the staff can be notified of the upload.

Phil Carlson, a photographer with the Quincy Herald-Whig newspaper, spoke to the desktop publishing class Thursday, Sept. 7. In addition to offering insight and tips to the entire class on getting that perfect shot, he also worked one-on-one with the yearbook staff photographers. The session ended with the class photographers being invited to visit the newsroom at the Herald-Whig and also meet with other staff photographers.
