Public notice is hereby given that the regular May meeting of the Board of Education of Western Community Unit School District Number 12, originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria of Western High School, 401 McDonough Street, Barry, Illinois, has been rescheduled and will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the Cafeteria of Western High School, 401 McDonough Street, Barry, Illinois.

The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration of young children. The purpose of “The Week of the Young Child” is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the Early Childhood Programs and services that meet those needs. The Pre-K children will be participating in various fun activities throughout this week.
Western’s Spring Pre-K Screening for the 2018-19 program year will be held April 26th and April 27th at Western Junior High in Kinderhook from 9–3 p.m.
